Prayer For My Boys

Last night I had a team meeting with my Outreach team, and shared with them how blessed I was that there are all on my team. I see their hearts of service, willingness to learn, a longing to know God and a quite strength that will grow so much the three months we are overseas.

We are headed into the final three weeks of lecture and this means crunch time for our students and *staff who are still needing to raise money either for Lecture phase and or Outreach money, (* some staff still need to raise Outreach money).

The above picture is of the young men who are on my team. The three guys are really quite amazing!!! Andrew to the left is a quite young man, filled with great intelligences, enjoys one on one time with people and has a long term call to China. Next is Jacob...he is our comic reflect! He has an ability to be hysterically funny, and yet hold a deep maturity that is able to be transparent, vulnerable and a heart that prayers to a God that he loves so deeply. Last is Kyle...he is the joy and thermometer of our team. His discernment reads what is going on within our team and has a great ability to bring truth and encouragement to those he is around.

Right now all three guys are in need of both their Outreach money and Outreach money.

Andrew is in need of $1,232.00

Jacob is in need of $4,855.00

Kyle is in need of $395.00

If you would join me and our staff as we pray for the needs of these guys, and many other students in our school who are standing in faith that God will provide the needs at hand, that would be so encouraging!

As this is a discipleship training school, it's been such a great lesson to lead these students in their personal responsibility in raising funds, and being accountable for where they spend their money. This is a generation that is often entitled, quick to fill the feelings of immediate

gratification, and has never had to step out and make something happen. So all in all it's a wonderful time to watch and encourage all of them in this journey.
