Not flighting for victory BUT from victory!

Then...
It's been a crazy 2 weeks and yet things are going well. Tina is safe in Washington, the team is back together, we celebrated New Years and we started ministry last night!
The team pulled together in our last location and God's hand was over everything they did, I'm very proud! They are now adjusting to Thai culture and a less packed schedule. So, it's been a few days of taking it all in.
Now...
We are doing one ministry here in Bangkok, it's called MST Project and it's intense!!! We literally go into a high traffic red light district and do ministry with the men who are there for sex. Last night I/we saw things I've never seen before and yet was reminded again and again how Jesus came to set the captives free and these men are in a world that captivates them. This is where the staff shared with us last night, that we fight this battle not for victory BUT from victory!!! God has own this battle, now we need to be faithful.
Next..
We will leave on Thursday for Pattaya. We will work in the slums during the day and at night the girls will go with staff members into the bars and talk with the girls who work there. We will be in this location for 8 days.
Prayer...
This is BIG warfare and we need a lot of faithful prayer!!!
~Team unity
~Truth over our minds, ears and hearts
~Health
~Love (perfect love cast out fear, and God has given us a spirit of fear)
~Joy
~Hope/Salvation for those we are ministering to
~Safe travels (we do a lot of traveling even on a daily basis, as well as to our next few locations)
Thank you...
I need to praise God for being a God that is alive, who desires a personal relationship with us. He knows how to refine us, it's uncomfortable and yet He knows what He is doing and it's the best place to be.
I also want to sincerely thank you for your prayers, e-mails, comments and love during this Outreach. A lot unexpected situations came up and having you in prayer brought us all through it. Thank you!
